After massive waves of misery from all fans around the world praying in years for exposing a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. about the new magic we have decided that we are now ready to do that.

Here are 3 clips from 3 different songs that will appear on the new album. Its midi drums here only and the whole thing is taken directly from a raw working/recording document, which means neither mix nor any kind of sound improvement has been applied on the clips, which is the very point of leaving the final effect for the real album. Also, its MP3 format of course.

Wow my favorite is "Spirit", this is going to be great! I love how it starts medium pace and picks up faster, this song will be a fist pumper.

Wizard sounds like it will be a very mystical & mysterious. The very end part is going to be awesome with vocals!!

Fire is pure power! No kidding around here. This is heavy!


The guitar tone sounds great, have you changed anything equipment wise? I think maybe it is a little different?


P.S. I actually own a company that makes custom golf clubs haha!!! Lost Horizon is pure power, very inspirational and uplifting. You guys are in my top 3 favorite bands of all time and I listen to you almost every day.

Wow! I had a hard time imagining what the new album would sound like, but now when I hear this, it makes perfect sense...I feel that POWER AGAIN! Lost Horizon is back.

Short indeed, so much that my comment will remain brief:

Fast and effective are the words that instantly came to my mind. All the licks drip of power from elder days (I mean, AFTTGB), but with a somewhat more technical approach that reveal an evolution in the guitar play.

Here, the art is to innovate while sticking to the roots that make metal what it is - and stays. I assume that's why Wizard strongly evokes Cry of a Restless Soul (and believe me I'm not complaining!). By achieving that, you worked the subtle alchemy that let us hope for the best, wildest, most powerful and uncompromising LH album ever.

The crude production couldn't hide what we can expect from the drums - I feel you plan to include more of those clever long breaks - and the majestic astral keys. Bass guitar (i.e. Orchestrating Of Thunder & Seismic Harmonizing, in immortal tongue) was the most discrete instrument to be heard, but I trust it will not be forsaken either.

Still, one important thing remains untold : the vocals. Daniel Heiman wouldn't want the job by any chance? Now that Heed has disbanded, he could well spare some time (the guy is still one of my all-time favourite singers). Maybe now he's got kids and all, so all he's gotta do is to deal with that along with his musical carreer. He can't just walk away, no one can!

Seriously now, this singer business has delayed you for too long. Like, 5 years, could it be!? Not long enough for LH to be forgotten, that for sure. But quite enough to raise our expectations regarding the next album to an extreme level, which you will now have to match. Of course, we know you can; question is: how even better shall it be?

Since you released these samples, we're not looking forward anymore - we're growing impatient!

PS What about the artwork? Is Valgorth in charge? I usually like what he does - tell him I said hello!

Hah, the subtle art of sculpting a mystery by revealing only a small part. Now I am expecting ANYTHING and could well be surprised by the final outcome even more. There are no vocal lines in the clips, I guess, so the songs still remain an enigma to me , while I know the foundations are mightier than ever before, with this extremely precise guitar attack and cosmic soul-healing vistas created by synths.
My impatience is quenched, but not for long! :>

Everything that i love about Lost Horizon is evidently intact, and even based on 3 clips spanning no more than 2 and a half minutes, it is already obvious that the new album will be nothing less than a masterpiece.

Oh...what i can tell? Every day i check news on site but nothing changed during long time. But today, the 6 of June i am so happy just because of new samples from mighty Lost Horizon is available! And of course, i read comments about it! People still waiting and keep fire in their hearts. Amazing! I am agree with opinions that music in new album will be so powerful and energetic but main question is: what about vocal parts guys? Fans pray standing on their knees - Daniel go back, please!

I would say Wizard is the best of the 3, even though I liked the others too. Us fans are jumping with excitement like kids on christmas eve

I would truely like to see Lost Horizon with a different singer, There has to be someone out there worthy enough that can match Lost Horizon's magic.
